Hoseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is one of several iconic bends in the Colorado River upstream of Grand Canyon National Park. Being close to US89 about 5 miles south of Page, Arizona, it is the most visited. The river has shaped itself like a horseshoe, offering great photographic shots, especially near sunset, from the top of the canyon wall that forms the top of the horseshoe.
