We parked along the road that goes off 89 to Lee's Feery. The Xterror, Daniel's Honda (he drove up Sunday), and Scott's Jeep. Bob's picture.

We start down the trail and pass through a big culvert to get under the road to Lee's Ferry.
Bob looked back to see Don and the culvert we just came through.
The Cathedral Trail follows the canyon cut by Cathedral Creek when it flows. It ends at the Colorado, about 2 miles away.
We cut deeper
Our first tricky part. Bob took this pic of us trying to keep out of this muddy pool.
Little Joe gets a little help from his dad, Scott.
I have no idea what I'm pointing at. Bob shot this pic.

Then we encounter this 20 ft drop off called a "downpour," a dry water fall. This one got a little more difficult and we were about 2/3's of the way to the river. Bob and Don decided to wait here for the rest of the team to go to the river and back.
There are two of the party passing under the overhanging rock ledge.
Now they can drop further drop into this canyon.
Bob used his camera's zoom to get a closer look at the party.
While waiting on the team to return, Bob found an arch above.
We went out farther to get a longer view of the canyon after the downpour.

Now we're on our way out, some choosing more difficult paths than others.
Bob makes his way back. After getting back to the vehicles, we stopped in Cameron for a late lunch before driving back to the valley (Bob, Don and Joe) or to Payson (Scott, Little Joe and Slade) or Flagstaff (Daniel).
