In a couple of weeks we returned to cover the trail south from where we parked the car when we hiked north from here. These are pictures of the old Morning Star mine. You can see parts of two shafts that were used to dig gold. One is at the exteme right (the fenced off area with old timbers) and the other is at the extreme left (the fenced off area with old timbers). Suzanne took all the pictures from here on as I left my camera battery on the charger at home. When will I learn: digital camers don't work with out a power source.
