We spot some newly appearing animal prints along this section of the trail. This area has been declared a protected range for the endangered Jaguars that have recently been spotted in southern AZ. Previously, we have spotted deer and coyote tracks on this passage of the trail. Is this one of the Jaguar's footprints? I doubt that it is, as the pad at the base of the foot is not large enough and the print is too narrow. It looks more like a Puma print. Then again, it could be just a domestic dog that needs its nails trimmed. Think big!
