The southern terminus of Passage 6 at FR 4072 (4072 has a locked gate at highway 83, so there is no access by vehicle to this point). The sign we found here indicates some type of ride (horseback, trail bike?) was done here recently or will be done in the near future on this part of the trail. This is also where we saw illegals (the border patrol said they were probably smugglers) headed south back to Mexico. From here, they didn't follow Passage 5 south, they went cross country up and over the hills (to the left in this picture). The Border Patrol said they were probably returning to Mexico to take their money back and get another load of people or drugs.
