The Gabe Zimmerman Trailhead that is the northern start of Passage 7 of the AZ National Scenic Trail This trailhead is dedicated to Gabe Zimmerman, one of Gabby Giffords staff members who was killed by Jerod Loughner, when he tried to assassinate Congresswoman Giffords. We hiked the northern 5 miles (and back) of this passage on 1/14/2014 as an in-and-out trek.
