There is an old road (currently suitable, at best, for high-lift, fully articulated, 4W drive vehicles) that intersects the trail at this point. Old cars had been dumped here in this wash in the past. The newest was a 1955 or '56 Chevy (the one on the far right with a bashed in roof and a missing front clip) and a 1953 Chevy (the light colored car in the foreground). Forget about it, these are not restorable fix-me-upers.
