We parked along Forest Road 418 (the dirt road passing the car) and decided we needed to add some layers of clothing as it was in the 40F's. Don's pack is laid out on the ground in the bottom left with his Spot Satellite Communicator on top. It is sending text that will be relayed by satellite to a ground station and then sent out as text messages and emails to a predetermined distribution list.
