Along in here we met a lone hiker headed south. He was from St. Catherine's in Canada (just southeast of Toronto). He had taken a week off from work to do the Grand Canyon to Flagstaff portion of the AZ Trail. He had allotted 6 days to do the 100 miles, but thought he could get it done in 5 days - 20 miles per day. Wow, that is out of our class.
