There were other animals found in fenced in areas just north of the house. This turkey lookis like it will be ready for the Thanksgiving table. Some sheep were in another nearby pen. Of course, there is always lots of fresh red meat!
The ranch is essentially self sufficient. Is is off-grid, getting its electrical service from a solar array and from a diesel or propane-powered motor-generator. They did have satellite TV.
