The parking lot for the wilderness area. It is about 1.5 miles short of the wilderness boundary. There is a road from here to the wilderness boundary and up Turkey creek. We drove on to see the ancient dwelling ruins up Turkey creek, before driving one of the two vehicles back to Mesa/Phoenix.
