About 8 miles from the west trailhead where we started (and about 4 miles from the car), we stop at where Hell Hole (side) Canyon comes into Aravaipa Canyon. We have heard that this side canyon is worth exploring. So we start up the yellow highlighted canyon at about 2:30 in the afternoo, 4 3/4 hours after beginning of this hike. There is no way out so we will have to return down this side canyon and continue the 4 miles to the Xterror.
