Some petroglyphs. Those in the upper half of this photo are thought to be Anasazi petroglyphs as old as 1600 years; those in the lower half are more recent, maybe only 700 years old. The Anasazi are thought to be the ancestors of the pueblo Indians of Arizona (e.g., Hopi) and New Mexico (e.g., Acoma, Taos, San Ildefonso, etc.).
