Cave 1

A good "starter" cave.

SuzannesPics-Butt tree-HDR Don knew from an earlier visit to this cave that was one of the the trail markers where you turned right. He was told to look for the Big Butt Burl (BBB or B3) tree. BobsPics-IMG 3661-HDR It was a crack up. BobsPics-IMG 3664-HDR We spotted this horned toad in spite of its good job at blending into its environment SuzannesPics-P1030994-HDR After some extensive searching we (read that - Bob) found the entrance to the cave we were looking for.
SuzannesPics-P1030995-HDR Bob is climbing down into the entrance. SuzannesPics-Cave Entrance-HDR Looking back up from within the cave toward the entrance SuzannesPics-Cave entrance1-HDR Bob is opening a cannister to find a log book (which was not there when Don visited previously). We didn't take the small diameter crawl excursion - Don had done it earlier when he was younger and more flexible. BobsPics-IMG 20190702 113603358-HDR Don was given the job of entering our visit into the log book

SuzannesPics-Cave4-HDR SuzannesPics-P1040002-HDR This cave is not very extensive, so it didn't take long to see it all. So, we start back to the surface. BobsPics-IMG 20190702 120010023-HDRSmoothed One last shot by Bob just before Suzanne and Don exit the cave.
