Then on Jul 1st, we drove up Forest Road 144 (the rutty and rocky road shown ahead of the car) to its end where we parked and hiked the Highline Trail to the west hoping to get to our turnaround point on our hike 2 weeks ago. 144 ends at the Highline where we parked the Xterror after the 20 minute, 2 mile drive.
