Folklore says that young saguaros don't develop arms until they are about 70 years old. So that single-armed saguaro up on this hilside, is probably a little more than 70 years old. That multiple-armed saguaro to the right of the single-armed one, is somewhat older than that. I can count 8 arms on this one, but you "ain't seen nothin' yet."
