Yosemite-09
This was taken looking east from just east of the tunnel at the west end of Yosemite Valley. There was a smouldering, lightning-caused fire up on the ridge behind Audrey and the west wind was blowing smoke into Yosemite Valley. It started on July 20 and we were there August 9-11. There are about 30 lightening-caused fires in the park each year so this type of smokey haze is not unusual for the park. Hey, let's just call it fog and get on the with sight seeing.
