We had breakfast and then drove the rim of Canyon de Chelly, out to Spider Rock, an 800 foot tall spire. This spire is one of the iconic formations in the Canyon. This is Gloria's shot.
Anni's photo of the gang at the overlook for Spider Rock. Don photoshopped himself in.
Telephoto shot of the White House Ruins in Canyon de Chelly, another icon of the Canyon. This was one of the locations where the latest "Lone Ranger" movie was filmed.
Telephoto shot of one of many ant hills near the White House Ruins in Canyon de Chelly
Jerry pointed out that this is what the other While House would look like if either of a couple candidates get elected.
We left Canyon de Chelly and drove to Monument Valley, a Navajo Tribal Park. We shot this photo of The Mittens (West, on the left, and East, on the right) Buttes, one of the icons often associated with the park.
