Gloria, Jerry & Don head out before dawn to shoot some pictures at sunrise. We caught a good one looking east toward the Mittens.
We were a little early (fortunately) for looking north from the recommended point for sunrise pics. Jerry sat in the car and ate all the trail mix, while G&D stood by with their cameras for the perfect sunrise pics.
We're getting there.
Our wait paid off, except for the lack of clouds. What happened, Anni? Sleeping on the job?

Our last sunrise pic in Monument Valley. After returning to the hotel, we had breakfast and then drove on to Antelope Canyon at Page. Barb, Laura and Scott had never been there, so I offered to take them but those that went last year wanted to go again. We lucked out and got on the next tour and had the best sun angles I've experience in the many times I've been there.
Waiting for assignment to a truck for transport up the where the slot canyon begins.

Don't know what Scott was doing????
In the truck. The driver almost immediately got stuck in the deep sand. But he got it going again.
My (Don's) best shot ever of a light beam/shaft penetrating the canyon. The slot canyon that is Antelope Canyon, is evidenced by the two closely spaced, but very high, walls. Not for the claustrophobic.

Scott's cellphone video shows our Navajo guide playing the flute in the Canyon. The eerie sound reverberated over the curvy canyon walls. Click the Start button to play the video.
